What is AEO-LO Certification?
The Authorized Economic Operator LO Certification is a special certification designed for logistics operators who work with international supply chain services. This certification forms part of a WCO wide program aimed at improving security and efficiency in the international supply chain. AEO LO certification is aimed directly at providing the status of a reliable partner in the movement of goods across borders for certain types of agents, including logistics providers, brokers with customs, and terminal operators.

Who Can Apply For TheAEO-LO Certification?
The AEO LO certification is open to a variety of entities involved in logistics and supply chain operations, including:
Logistics Service Providers: Companies that offer transportation and warehousing services.
Customs House Agents: It refers to those in a business who avail their own services, in helping clear the goods through customs.
Warehouse Operators: Companies dealing in storage of goods in warehouses awaiting to be shipped or transported to outlets.
Terminal Operators: Organizations for cargo management or for managing business at ports or at airports.
What Is The AEO LO Certificate's Period Of Validity ?
The AEO LO Certificate has a validity of five years like the AEO status. This certification is suitable for Logistics operators such as the Logistics service providers, customs brokers and terminal operators. After five years on the AEO LO certificate, the company must reapply to retain their AEO status as well as the privileges that come with it. The renewal application should therefore be filed at least 90 days before the expiry of the existing certificate so that the flow of benefits is not disrupted, and so that compliance with the regulations is not compromised.
